Hi {{firstName | there}},

Good to [meet / be at] [event] this week. [One line about what you talked about, or a talk you both saw.]

You mentioned [their challenge]. That's exactly what we help [the kind of company you help] with: [the outcome].

Would a short call next week be useful?

Follow-up 1
Hi {{firstName | there}}, as promised, here's [the resource or idea you mentioned]. Happy to talk it through.
Follow-up 2
Hi {{firstName | there}}, are you around for 15 minutes on [day]? If not, no worries.
Follow-up 3
Hi {{firstName | there}}, I'll leave it here. Hope to see you at the next [event].

How to use this template

  1. Replace every [bracketed] part with something true about you or the person you're writing to.
  2. Give every {{field}} beyond the standard ones (first name, company) its own column in your lead list, or a fallback after a bar. In mailzy, a lead whose field is empty and has no fallback waits instead of going out with a gap.
  3. Send the follow-ups as replies in the same thread. We wait 3, 5 and 7 days between them.
  4. Check how it reads for real leads with the merge tag preview, and send it to yourself first.
  5. Test it on a few hundred people in one niche and judge it by replies, not opens.
