- What would make them reply.
Keep it to about 150 words, plain and specific.Example of what it writes
Head of Sales at a 30-person SaaS company. Judged on new pipeline and quota. Their week: forecasting, coaching two SDRs, chasing deals. Problems: 'not enough meetings', 'reps waste time on bad lists', 'replies slip through'. Deletes: long emails, fake familiarity, attachments. Replies to: a short email naming a problem they have this quarter, with one result from a similar team.
How to use this prompt
- Copy it into any AI tool, such as ChatGPT or Claude.
- Replace each {{field}} with real details about you and the person you're writing to. The more specific they are, the less generic the result.
- Check every fact, name and number in what comes back: AI can sound sure about things that aren't true.
- Cut it down if it runs long. A cold email reads best under about 75 words.
- Send it to yourself and read it on your phone before anyone else sees it.
