Follow-up 1
Hi {{firstName | there}}, a quick update since my last note: [new milestone]. Happy to send the deck.
Follow-up 2
Hi {{firstName | there}}, is this a fit for your current focus, or is there someone else at the fund I should speak to?
Follow-up 3
Hi {{firstName | there}}, I'll leave it here. I'll send a short update when we hit [next milestone].

How to use this template

  1. Replace every [bracketed] part with something true about you or the person you're writing to.
  2. Give every {{field}} beyond the standard ones (first name, company) its own column in your lead list, or a fallback after a bar. In mailzy, a lead whose field is empty and has no fallback waits instead of going out with a gap.
  3. Send the follow-ups as replies in the same thread. We wait 3, 5 and 7 days between them.
  4. Check how it reads for real leads with the merge tag preview, and send it to yourself first.
  5. Test it on a few hundred people in one niche and judge it by replies, not opens.
