Rules that break SPF
- • One SPF record per domain. Two TXT records starting with v=spf1 is a hard failure.
- • Maximum 10 DNS lookups. Each include, a, mx, ptr, exists and redirect counts.
- • Never use +all - it authorises the entire internet to send as you.
- • SPF alone is not enough. Pair it with DKIM and a DMARC policy.
