Campaigns & A/B tests

Cold emailsequences thattest themselves.

Write the steps, add versions to test, choose when and how fast to send. mailzy spreads the emails across your mailboxes and stops for anyone who replies.

Versions

Up to 26 versions of every email.

Test subject lines and openings with versions A to Z. Choose how the winner is judged, and once enough have gone out mailzy sends only the best one.

Schedules

Your days, your hours, your time zone.

Set sending days and hours, a first and last day, and how many emails a day. Each mailbox also keeps to its own limit.

Safe by default

Protection switched on before you think of it.

Risky addresses are skipped, Bounce Guard skips ones known to bounce, the one-click unsubscribe header is on, and a campaign pauses itself if bounces climb.

Sending that looks after itself.

mailzy watches every mailbox and every campaign while it sends, and eases off before a problem spreads.

A slow start

A new mailbox starts at 5 campaign emails a day and adds 5 for each day it sends, up to its limit.

Mailbox health

Each mailbox is Healthy, Watch or At risk from seven signals. Watch sends at half speed, At risk rests, and it climbs back by itself.

Healthiest mailbox first

New leads go to healthy mailboxes first, then to the one that has sent least. Follow-ups stay with the mailbox that started the thread.

Holidays and local time

Skip public holidays in the countries you choose, and send in each lead's own time zone, worked out from their details.

Spread through the day

A mailbox's emails left for today are shared evenly over the hours left, never closer than your minimum gap.

Opt-out alarm

If 2% of a campaign's last 200 emails ask to stop, it slows to half its pace. At 4% it pauses.

Skips security gateways

Leads whose company mail passes through a security gateway are skipped, unless you allow them. 35 services are recognised.

Test where it lands

Before launch, send the real first email to our test mailboxes and see inbox or spam at each provider.

Checked before it sends

A lead whose email would have an empty field waits until it's filled, broken links are caught before launch, and an automatic signature adds your business address.

Everything else a campaign can do.

Subsequences

Move a lead to a different track when they open, click, reply or get a status.

Provider matching

Each lead hears from a mailbox on its own provider where you have one: Gmail addresses from Google mailboxes.

Stop for the company

When one person at a company replies, the rest of that company stops getting emails.

Natural gaps

A minimum gap between emails, plus a random extra, so nothing looks automated.

Plain text

Send every email, or only the first, as plain text.

Owners, tags, CC and BCC

Organise campaigns and copy your CRM on every email.

Questions before you start.

Ask us on the chat if yours isn't here. A real person answers.

How many steps can a sequence have?

As many as you need. Most good sequences have 3 to 5, with a few days between them.

Can follow-ups stay in the same thread?

Yes. Follow-ups go in the same thread, and stop for anyone who replies.

Does mailzy track opens?

Only if you switch it on. Open and click tracking are off by default, because plain emails land in the inbox more often.

What if a list is bad?

A campaign pauses itself if more than 5% of its emails bounce after the first 200, before your mailboxes are hurt.

How many follow-ups should a sequence have?

We recommend one main email and three follow-ups, waiting 3, 5 and 7 days. If four emails haven't worked, change the list or the offer rather than sending a fifth.
